Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I met an American in Russia & we dated then got engaged. I moved to the US 7 years ago & got married. After being held captive with a $20 per week allowance, 3 years ago I started a biz with money my parents sent. My husband used his atty to set up the corporation & put it 50/50 in his/my name. Also has had his bookkeeper control the accounting. Last yr I found out he was having affairs & I moved out and we filed for divorce. His attorney did all the work again. I got no money from 7 years marriage and his Attorney didn't say anything contrary and I didn't know any better. He makes $150k/yr. The divorce was final a couple weeks ago. Now I found out he has helped his new girlfriend start an exact copy of my/our business and is stealing my sales. He is still owner of my company, he kept that in the divorce! I did all the work (70+ hrs a week for 3 years) and he hasn't spent more than a couple hours in the business the whole time. Help! I didn't know any better and now a friend says I got cheated and continue to be cheated. What now?

You need a lawyer of your own. From what you have described, there was an apparent conflict of interest when your husband's lawyer also represented you. You should be able to set aside any settlement that was entered in violation of the rules dealing with conflict of interest.
