Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

My money in friends account

I deposited $12000.00 in a friends bank account for her to save for me, now she will not give it back at the time we both agreede when I needed she would withdraw it for me can I do anything to get it back. We live in Calif.

You'd need to file a lawsuit against her. The verdict will depend on the credibility of each of you if there's nothing in writing. You'd have to give a convincing explanation of why you couldn't open your own bank account in which to deposit the money.

Perhaps you might have an impartial third person or mediator try to work out a discounted payment plan if you want to remain as friends.
