Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Mr. McCormick,(cal. civ. 3045.1) thats why i asked here, because the attorney answering my questions, whether or not my attorney should have paid them or not by law. you are not the attny. who represented me and have no reason to lie to me about why my attorney decided not to pay them and keep the money from my settlement, because by not paying them, his pay was more. percentage or pay was based on total dollar amount. but i got stuck paying those bills 2 yrs later. he used those med bills as leverage to get a bigger settlement, but never paid them as he should have, if they are as you say automatically medical liens.

If your attorney misallocated settlement funds, you need to take it up with the State Bar or sue him or her for malpractice.
