Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
My neighbor maliciously press charges against me that were later dismissed. The court placed a restraining order against me not to contact or harass the neighbor. The case was later dismissed after 2 yrs pre-trials. Since there was a restraining order, I could not file a lawsuit against the neighbor. What law will toll the statue of limitations in this case???

There is no law that will extend the relevant statute(s) of limitations on your case because a restraining order does not prevent you from using proper legal procedures to sue the protected person.
