Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

order to show cause jurisdiction - i have a problem with a california LP and individual operating the LP. i live in texas. where can i file an order to show cause?

You haven't provided enough information about your dispute. Here in California, an OSC is only issued as part of a court case. If you already have a case, then you would request an OSC in the court where it is pending. If you don't, then you would have to start a case before seeking an OSC.

Mr. Hoffman is correct. I would just add that the OSC procedure is extremely rare outside the Family Law courts.
