Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Can the same person sign differently in different places?

Can the same person sign differently in different places? I.e, can I sign one way for an account, and a different way for another account? Say, some I sign my full name in some accounts, and just the last name in other accounts ... is it illegal as long as I sign the same way for a particular account?

Thanks. Appreciate you response.

As long as you sign it and acknowledge that it's your signature, I don't see why it would cause any problem. Perhaps there's something you haven't stated that would cause me to rethink this answer. Please elaborate.

You can sign your name anyway you want to as long as you are not using the different name to perpetrate fraud or deceit.
