Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Plaintiff never contacted me or asked me to pay money before sueing.

I'm being sued in small claims court, but the plaintiff NEVER once tried to contact me or ask me to pay the money, but marked the box on the -Notice to Defendent- form that she did. "Does this make a difference?"

small claims fraudulent claim

I would suggest that you appear at the small claimshearing and inform the judge of the false informationthis will probably work to your advantage since the Plaintiffnever made and effort to resolve the matter and shelied to the court about it. Talk to the small claimsadvisor for that county and infom them of what has happened and they will usually help you in preparingthe case.
