Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
A plumber came in and broke my granite countertop while doing a faucet installation. He says he's not responsible because the installation was faulty. The contractor says it was not faulty, the plumber just wasn't careful. Is the plumber responsible?

Obviously, the plumber doesn't think so. But the law most likely would be on your side. You might have a granite specialist come in to examine everything, write a report, and take photos before you go to small claims court.
