A need to Know

When a processor serves you a summons are they allowed to show up at your place of employment for four days in a row talking with four administrative employees telling them that it is a legal matter that only I can sign for? It was starting to cause concern in the workplace. Then he came back and left the papers with the receiptionist with a copy of the law suite attached so everyone read it. It pertained information regaurging sexualality, Private Affairs, and other Discriminating information about my personal life.

Yes, that is called substituted service. He is required to make a reasonable attempt to serve you personally and if he fails to find you he can leave it with any adult at your job or home.
