rear ended me, blocked me from leaving

Thanksgiving weekend, the Beverly Hills Teenager(23) from Hell rear ended my car on Sunset Blvd in Westwood, lots of traffic, I changed lanes, shortly thereafter the car in front of me did a panic stop, I did the same, and BHTFH hit my rear. Minor damage to bumper and crush panel (I have a 95 Trooper) her rental VW moderately serious to her front passenger side fender, light etc.

Then it got interesting. She was agitated, upset, called me names, demanded my insurance card etc, called the police. When I mildly pointed out, ''You hit me, why do you care about my insurance?'' she exploded, ''Oh, I hit you? Is that how it's going to be?? You RAN INTO ME! etc. I was unable to locate my insurance card (found later it was in the car) but tried to calm her down, gave her my info, etc. Had her follow me 1/21 mile to my daughters UCLA dorm, thinking that she was a student and maybe my daughter could calm her down. She continued to rant, kept talking to the police, trying (I suppose) to the me arrested!! At one point I asked to speak to them (the police) and the guy essentially said, ''you gave her your registration, what does she want me to do?''

Not sure what your question is. The text of your post was cut-off. Essentially, you should submit the matter to your insurance company. The BHTFH will submit it to hers and the ins. companies will battle it out. If she rear-ended you, she'll be declared at fault. Good luck.
