Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
I have Reason to believe I was defrauded for auto repairs to the tune of $750.00.
A repair shop in Santa Rosa, Ca charged me for installing a new fuel pump in my truck. What I believe happened is they replaced a fuel pump relay that should cost no more than $3.00. I have inspected the area where the repair should have been and see no evidence of tool marks or clean threads to screws or bolts that would have to have been removed and replaced.in order to affect the repairs in question. Can you advise me of what recourse I have. I can have another shop local to me verify there is a new fuel pump. That would cost me as much as the original bill was for minus their cost for the parts. can anyone offer me anyadvise on this matter. Thank you
