Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I just received a Default against a Plaintiff in a California Superior Court, Civil Division.

What forms do I fill out to turn this default into a Judgment?

You have me scratching my head. If a plaintiff did not show up for trial, the case would have been dismissed. Do you mean you sued another person, and that person didn't file an answer? That would be a default against a DEFENDANT. In any case, different courts have different ways of operating. You should get a copy of the local rules for the superior court in your county. Often courts require you to submit a summary with evidence, and require you to appear with your witnesses and evidence to prove up your case. It might not hurt to speak with the clerk in your courtroom to find out what the procedures are.
