Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Can the relation-back doctrine bring back causes of actions for 1.) Property Damage, and 2.) Trespass, so long as the criteria is met (same parties, same offending instruments, similar damages sought, etc.).

Because I know that causes of actions for Personal Injury and Premises Liability can not be brought back with the relation-back doctrine, but can Trespass (w/ 1 S.O.L.) & Property Damage (3 yr. S.O.L.) be brought back?

Not to get around the statute of limitations. The relation back doctrine applies to adding a new cause of action to an existing complaint, or a situation in which a cross-complaint is filed and the statute is deemed tolled by the filing of the original complaint.
