Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I was in a relationship, my exgirlfriend and i dissolved the relationship the car which she cannot affort was left to me. I make the payments, insurance and registration upkeep etc. It is my daily driver. for about a year now dow i have any rights to the car if she tries to take it?

If the car is registered in your name, you can report it stolen to the police if she takes it, and her name is not on the registration. You need to keep the pink slip in a safe place and not the glove compartment like most Americans do.
