Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

request to remove

My question is do I have the right to request removal of my name and imagines on a website of a group I was once a member of. I wish no association with the person who runs the group or said group. Do I have legal grounds to stand here?

The answer to this question depends on a few circumstances. If, for example, you signed a release for the rights to use the images, then you would governed by that agreement. There also may have been an enforceable oral agreement as well. Otherwise, you may have rights. I would recommend that you speak with a qualified attorney.
