Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

This may sound like a flippant answer, but I am very serious: by hiring a lawyer. Vendors lien cases involve a very tecnical and uncommonly used area of the law. Most attorneys and judges have never seen one. I have only had one in my more than twenty years of practice, and then only because I was in-house litigation counsel to a title insurance company.
