Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
I need a restraining order against a neighbor but I do plan to move in the forseeable future so if I go through the process now can I just "ammend" the order later after I move or do I have to go through the entire process again to keep this person away from my new address?
Also if there is more than one person that needs to be restrained, do I have to file seperatly for the other person or can I do both with one set of papers??
Thank you for any help.

Usually a restraining order issued after a hearing will specify that the person to be restrained stay away from you, and your address. If you move, you will still be protected during the terms of the order, because the order protects you. The CH-100 form, which is a mandatory form for requesting a restraining order preventing civil harassment, only has space for one restrained person, so you are going to have to file for each one.
