Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Restraining Order

I have a restraing order on a neighbor, after court the judge ordered us to mediation. If at any time the neighbor violates this order, how can I be assured that the order will be enforced by the police? should I continue to rack up police calls on this person if she violates this order, and if the police don't take my calls serious would I be able to present violated incident cards to the judge?
