Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
When I returned a rented cars, the customer service agent did the walk around inspection and gave me my receipt. 7 days later I received a not the the wind shield was cracked and they they determined that I was responsible. I have dusputed this fact since there was no damage to the car on the return and I was given the receipt. What is my course of action?

If the windshield has not yet been repaired, ask to be able to see it and take photos. You might be able to determine the likely cause of the crack. If you have given a full presentation of your side to the company, all you can do is ask what they will do and when. There is nothing you can do to force the issue along and it is probably best not to pus them.
