Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
I need to serve a legal document on an individual for a fraud case. All I have is a cell phone number. I did a people search and found 3 different addresses for the named individual. How do I determine which address to use? Do I send documents to all 3 addresses and perhaps attach a disclaimer that states that if they are not the individual in question to disregard but if they are the individual in question that they need to appear in court.

To serve legal documents, you must have a third-party personally serve them. This could get costly. Use the newest address first. Have a competent process server follow-up, perhaps by asking neighbors about the named defendant.
