Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Set Aside Default

I am filing a motion to set aside a default. I need four forms in CA: 1) Motion to Set Aside Default, 2) An Affadavit; 3) A Memorandum of Points & Authorities, 4) a Proposed Responsive Pleading. I can find template for some of these, but I want to see actually docs filed in similar cases. Can this be done? If not, are there reasonably priced services that will prepare the docs more me? Thanks.

Re: Set Aside Default

Our office can assist you in this matter, as we offer alternative fee arrangements. As Mr. Hoffman points out, you will need the assistance of an attorney as there are no standard forms for this type of motion. If you would like to speak to me about this, please feel free to contact me.

Re: Set Aside Default

The practice of law involves more than just filling out standard forms. Such forms exist for certain routine filings, but not for others. Besides, what matters for the documents you described is not so much their form as their contents, and those contents will depend upon the facts of your case. You should hire a lawyer to bring this motion for you if at all possible.
