Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
sexually explicit picture taken at job
My employer/owner of a markaeting company took rear view pictures of me, showing my jeans riding down and buttocks crack. These pictures were then posted on the office computer along with other pictures taken at a photo shoot. I was not told of this, although the entire office did have access and most enjoyed looking at the pictures and laughing at my expense, I was not informed of this until another employee took pity and told me I should see what was being shown at the office. I was devasted, and in the end quit my job; I was becoming paranoid and thought everyone was laughing behind my back which turned out to be the truth. Is this legal? Is there somewhere I can turn to stop this man from doing this. I was told this was not the first time an employee had this happen to them and I would like this man reprimanded for using young girls for amusement.

You suffered damages and you have a valid claim, be advised that you should act quickly for compensation. Call me directly at 6192223504.
Re: sexually explicit picture taken at job
I would consider it sexual harassment and, perhaps, invasion of privacy. You can complain to the CA Dept. of Fair Employment and Housing of sexual harassment and constructive termination because of it, and let the Dept. investigate.

WHAT YOU DESCRIBED IS SEXUAL HARASSMENT AT WORK AND YOU MAY BE ENTITLED TO COMPENSATION FOR CONSTRUCTIVE WRONGFUL TERMINATION (EVENTHOUGH YOU VOLUNTARILY QUIT YOUR JOB). YOU MAY CONTACT MY OFFICE AT 213.388.7070 FOR FREE CONSULTATION ABOUT YOUR CASE.
Re: sexually explicit picture taken at job
The conduct you describe is probably a form of sexual harassment. There are state and federal agencies to which you can complain about your ex-boss's conduct, but you should not delay because there are strict time limits for making such reports. You may also have a good civil case against your former employer, but making the reports I described above is a prerequisite to filing such a lawsuit.
Feel free to contact me directly if you want to discuss your options in more detail.
Re: sexually explicit picture taken at job
Your former boss's conduct is reprehensible and legally actionable. You can hire a lawyer or go with Fair Employment and Housing Authority, which this incident should be reported to.
I do these types of cases on a contingent fee basis. Feel free to contact others on this bulletin or me at 323*782*0099.
Good luck.
