Is a signed contract void if blackmail was used to get a person to sign the contract?

Yes. It is called extortion. Contact your local police department or FBI field office.

But you need to relatively sure that you were really blackmailed and not that some pressure was put on you. I have had people tell me they were blackmailed when nothing really illegal was done. Before you give any names to the police, find out from them if an objective statement of what occurred was very improper enough to be a crime.

I agree with the other attorneys, but would also add that the contract is not void but rather it is voidable.
