signing a Settlement release

Divorce attorney filed a declatory relief complaint against me. I filed a cross-complaint for beach of contract and conversion with punitive damages. I lost the case. After he threaten me with an abuse of process lawsuit unless I give him money for costs defending this lawsuit and sign a declaration that states I was without merit in filing a conversion cause of action. By signing this declaration am I opening myself up for to a lawsuit for filing a meritless lawsuit? And if so, I would lose based on my declaration!!

Yes, he is trying to set you up for another lawsuit.
