SLANDER BY TENANT RESULTING IN TRO

A tennant claimed me and my 4 children threated them with physical harm and obtained a restraining order. They stated in the order a police report was made, buat in fact they did not. As a result of the RTO the police had me leave my own home. At the hearing, I was reinstated to my house and the tennants were ordered to vacate which they have. Myself and each of my children wish to file indiviual small claims. What laws would cover our claim, perjury, slander punitive? I tried to find case examples on the net without success, do you have a site address? Isn't the net a marvel!Thanks,
