Small Claims, appearance mandatory?
I live out of state, and one owes me $3000, can I file, with affidavits, exh., without making a physical appearance?

Contact the small claims court clerk and request a telephonic appearance. You can't proceed on declaration alone because your opposition has the right to cross examine you.
