Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

I have a small claims case in California it has already been continued once due to the fact an attorney came to represent the Defendant in this matter when in Ca it's not allowed and the attorney was aware of this. How do I oppose the second continuance that I just received from the court requested by the Defendant, I live out of state and obtain tickets on the date of the postponed hearing?

You can send something to the court explaining your reasons why a continuance should not be granted. If you can show that another continuance will create a hardship on you, the court may be less likely to grant another continuance. Make sure you send a copy to the other side also.
