Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

My son was arrested for graffiti damage of $1,300 with another boy. he is 17 years of age - detectives said that it's a felony. Should I get an attorney or see what the court presents?

The court won't "present" anything. You already know what the prosecutor thinks, and her position isn't going to become more lenient on its own. Get your son a lawyer right away.
