Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

my only source of income is child support and i just lost a small claims case. can my child support payments be garnished in california??? i hope not.

They can't garnish your child support, but if you put it in a bank account, it may be subject to bank levy. At that point, you will have to file an objection to the levy and claim exemptions.
