Indefinitely. It is up to the winner to submit a proposed judgment that is consistent with the statement of decision.

I agree with Mr. McCormick. You need to consult with the local rules, and the statement of decision, to determine the procedures and time frame to submit a proposed judgment to the court, for signature. Failure to comply with the local rules or a court order in the statement of decision could subject you to sanctions.
