Can i be sued for back child support after the child was adopted by her husband and i didn't know about the child till now the child is 16 years old

No. Once a child is adopted it is as if they were the natural child of the adoptive parent(s). For time prior to adoption you might be liable for support but only back to the date the petition for support is filed. So if nothing was filed pre-adoption, it is too late to seek support from you.
