Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
If I were to get sued, would my wife's 401k be safe from creditors? would the valuables I have in a safe deposit box at my local bank also be safe from creditors? thanks, David

Your wife's 401k should be safe, assuming it was set up and operated properly. The contents of your safe deposit would be fair game for the creditors.
