Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

sueing a person for attorney and bail cause my a wrongful arrest

my daughter was arrested 11/20/03 due to taking a 17 years old, friend to do a drug deal, she was charged with a felony, the 17 year old told the police and our attorney invesigator that my daughter does not do drugs and she told her she was picking up something from a friend for school.

To make a long story short. We have paid to bail our daughter out and attorney and other fee. Can we sue the parents of the 17 year old.
