Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

suiing for dog bite

I was bitten by my neighbors Husky dog while on my way to my trash can. They were not home, they were in the process of moving to another rental house and left animals home alone for days at time. Not sure how they were out, but I had 6 stiches and the owner fought with me about taking responsibility for the dogs actions. Now they moved and Im left with bills and gross scars. What now?

California law makes dog owners strictly liable for any dog bite. You should contact a personal injury attorney in your area.
