Re: Surcharge and judgments

An Abstract Judgment is an out-of-state judgment that is being filed in another state. In order to file for an Abstract Judgment there has to be a judgment that it is based on. So no you can not have an Abstract Judgment without an original judgment. If you have questions about getting a judgment or filing an Abstract Judgment please feel free to contact my office at 877-546-9918. The call and consultation are free.
