Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Taking an airline to small claims court.

I am looking to recover the cost of airline tickets. Departing flight was delayed 8 hours. Returning flight was cancelled. I booked return flight on another airline. Experience ruined our vacation. What forms are necessary and do I have a case? Thank you.

Generally, when airline flights are delayed, cancelled, etc., due to weather

they're not responsible. Often times, however,

they will work with you. For the cancelled flight, they

generally will assist in flying another airline

if they're consulted. Your best bet may be to

first try to work it out with them.

If you are unable to work out responsible compensation with the airling I recommend that you take them to small claims court or at least file and serve a lawsuit. Usually once you serve a lawsuit on a company they take your demands more seriously. Good luck.
