Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
Theft of Services and internet domain name theft
Hello
A firm which resgisters and controls domain names such as SOLARTEK.COM was paid by a postal money order
in August of 99, and I have the copy of the the postal money order ( UNITED STATES POSTAL MONEY ORDER )
When the firm gave my name away in the year 2000,on November 20th, I was unaware, as I had paid in full for two years as I had prior two years.
I have all the reciepts, and the firm Network Solutions has written me nasty emailos, ( I have copies ) and will not give me back my domain name.
What US POSTAL LAWS are violated, and how many millions of dollars can I sue the firm Network Soultions for stealing my money,
and not delivering my goods ( the name of SOLAR TEK.COM is my name and I have used this since 1987
and I have mail with stamps from around the world with this name.
How can I sue the firm and how can I get the US postal
agency to act on this claim?
Please get back to me ASAP
Thank you

Re: Theft of Services and internet domain name theft
Thanks for your posting.
I am not clear on how this would be a violation of the portions of the U.S. Code dealing with the postal service.
Although these types of cases are not normally worth millions, you may recover under the law any actual damages, including loss of business due to the name change mix-up.
Thanks, and I hope this helps. If you have other questions or need more information, please feel free to email me or call me at 1-877-568-2977 (toll free).
