Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California
UPS misdelivered mail
On Dec. 26, 2001 Ups delived a x-mas package addressed to me from my sister in Utah. They delivered that package to the east version of my address even though the package was clearly marked ''west''. they corrected the zipcode in there system to reflect the east address and let someone forge my signature for it. When the police investigated they found out that the residents of the east address where on vacation at the time of delivery. Ups is giving my sister a hard time about the insurance on the package stating that the package was signed for and delived. what legal rights do I have as the addressee? p.s. I have a copy of the forged signature.

Re: UPS misdelivered mail
None. your sister contracted with them so she is the one with the rights.
