I was wrongly acused of rape and found not guilty by a jury! Can i sue for all of the attorney fees and lost time at work?

Congratulations on your acquittal. You might want to petition the court for a Finding of Factual Innocence to keep people from whispering that you were really guilty. Whether you can sue anyone depends on a number of factors. Generally in California you can't sue someone for making accusations to the police, even if the allegations are false, malicious, harebrained, or farfetched. Generally you can't sue prosecutors. But you owe it to yourself to visit an attorney in your locality who handles defamation and/or civil rights cases. Watch out for legal time limits.
