Legal Question in Health Care Law in California
Hello, my daughter was manhandled by an employee of a behavioral health center back in 2011 as a minor. The facilitator got so mad at her that he tackled her and to the ground so hard that he knocked her out. The facility took her to a nearby hospital where she had an MRI. They said she had a"closed head injury." She saw a lawyer around that time when she was 16, but didn't want to pursuit a law suit at that time. Long story short, she has been having problems with her right eye for years and she now thinks it's from the incident. MY QUESTION: Is there a statue of limitations on a case like that?

Yes there is a statute of limitations. It's not entirely clear which one would apply and when it would start to run, but most likely it ran out one year after the incident. At latest it ran out two years after she first noticed it had affected her eye.
