Can a dentist stop treatment on a patient for nonpayment? Can I note on a statement that all appointments and or treatment will be stop until balance is paid? Also, can we tell patient that braces will not be removed until balance is paid?

You have several questions. You probably can stop treatment depending on where you are. Ethical considerations under such practice must be looked at. If place person in immediate harm, etc., probably not good idea. Need to look at each as each case arises. CAll if you wish to discuss and provide more info.
