Legal Question in Health Care Law in California
dental work
Two years ago I went to the dentist and was told I needed a crown for my tooth. I did not have insurance and was I self-pay patient. I payed 200.00 for the first visit which included the x-rays and the diagnosed. I crown was made for me and was told to go back in a two weeks to get the crown in placed. However I never went back to get the crown installed. Now I am being placed in collection for not paying the total cost of the crown. My question is should I be responsible for this charge, when I never got the crown in my tooth?

Re: dental work
Sure. The dentist can just take the crown you had custom ordered and made and sell it to some other patient. Give me a break.
