Legal Question in Health Care Law in California
Herbies
My niece was dating a man that did not tell her that he had the worst type of herpes know to man. She now has them and she does'nt date him anymore. She has to take medication for life and see a doctor periodically. Is it possible to take him to court for medical bills and medicine? She does not have insurance and work at a min. wage job.

Re: Herpes
Yes, your niece definitely can sue the man, especially if he was aware of his own condition and did not inform her.
The main question should be the man's solvency to pay the judgment and/or your niece's ability to pay the attorney for prosecuting this matter if the man has no money.
