Legal Question in Health Care Law in California
my only income is $1661.00 that i recieve from social security disability and i want to know why medi-cal says i have a monthly share of cost of $1041.00 that i have to pay out of pocket before my medi-cal will pay for anything?

Without access to your full financial information there is no way to answer that question. The most likely answers are either a) there is some mistake you should take up with them, or b) you have liquid assets they expect you to use before getting public assistance. In either case, that is not a legal question unless you have reason to believe they are violating the law. The best answer I can offer is ask them why.
