Legal Question in Health Care Law in California

Below the Standard of care.

I would like to know can a doctor and a hospital treat you differently during labor and delivery, based on the fact that the baby might have a life threatening illness. I was discriminated against because of this fact, and I believe that the inadequate treatment during the delivery of my child caused her death. I was denied anything that would help her to survive,by the doctor and the hospital,and I was told nothing would be done for her if she lived,I wasn't shown any compassion for the situation I was in,in fact my child's life was of no importance to this doctor.
