Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Hi, I am a 20-year old college student, and have been under the AB540 benefit while going to college. Now that the DREAM Act has been slaughtered in the Congress, I wanted to know more about the spouse option in getting the citizenship. I have overstayed my visa since 2007, and have not fixed it. Now, my boyfriend is willing to marry me but we don't know where to start. Could you enlighten me on this please?

Hello:
The DREAM Act did not pass. However, if done properly and you marry because of love, you can adjust status in the U.S. Please contact me for more information.
