Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Im 25yrs old.born in los angeles, a citizen. My question...I have no passport,and my grandmother is very ill she is in mexico. Is there any way i can go without having any trouble coming back home?

You should have a passport if you're flying for sure, otherwise you won't be able to leave, let alone enter Mexico. Coming back you'd pay a fee to waive the documentary requirements if you had nothing with you and it could take quite a long time. Not worth it. You're better off paying extra for an expedited passport at the passport office in the Federal Building on Wilshire Blvd. in Westwood. Applying is expensive, but much less of a hassle than trying to travel without the proper documents, plus you may not be able to even accomplish your goal otherwise.
