Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
As according to what I know, you have to adopt the child before his/her 16th birthday.
But he don't have much time (he is going to turn 16 soon)..
So is the law is that you have to "file" the adoption petetion before his 16th birthday or is it that you have to complete the whole process before he turns 16?
Also, please give as much detail as you can on this subject.
