Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Adoption/Immigration
Hi, I have been working for the same employer for the last 5 years on his family business. He mentioned several times that he would like to adopt me as a son, so he could help me on my immigration status.
The problem is that I am 45 years old, and married. My boss is 75 years old. Is it possible?
Thank you in advance.

No adoption needs to be finalized before 16yrs of age for immigration purpose. But he can sponsor you for the job.
