Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Hello! My name is Anastasia. My husband applied and got political asylum (we are both russian), and so did I as his wife. He already received the green card, and I am going to apply for it in 2 months. When we started the case, we lived in California, but about a year ago we moved to Seattle, WA. After a while we decided to move back to California, and now have a little problem- I returned earlier because I found a job here, in CA, but my husband is still in Seattle, wrapping up our business. He is going to move back to CA in 4 months, but I need to apply for green card before that. So, should I apply from CA- my current address, or should I apply from Seattle, where my husband currently resides? Does it make a difference if we live in different states (for a short term), or not? Can it influence the decision to give or not give me green card? What is the best way to handle the situation?
Thank you so much for your help!

Its best to apply from current home address. It should not matter if your husband is temporarily living in Seattle. Contact our office if you need help with the application process at: [email protected], 619-922-5287
